BBC Regional Reporters

Just seen Stuart Flinders from BBC North West pop up on BBC news reporting from East Midlands on collapse of Fly BMI, that’s quite a bit out of his normal area does BBC East Midlands not have any reporters able undertake such work.

Seems strange travelling up to 85+ miles to file a report in a different BBC region?

I just saw that and thought who let him out of the North West?

I guess though as he is reporting on it then it isn't as part of his role with BBC North West Tonight.
