I am surprised we haven’t learnt what’s happening with Stewart and Susie yet.
Kim Riley the chief reporter at BBC East is leaving today and according to the lunch time edition of Look East there will be a feature on him, on tonight’s Look East (east).

It is possible that they could share the programme and then no one would leave though they'd both appear less frequently.

Wonder if rob smith is staying at SET?
Can we refrain from speculating about how may be taking voluntary (or forced) redundancy. Some of those reading these forums work inside the BBC, and are potentially facing losing their jobs. I can't imagine they'd appreciate people speculating over whether they will or should go.

Regional redundacies and cutbacks are of course also impacting plenty of people whom are unknown to us viewers, as their jobs are off-screen (e.g. reducing Inside Out to a handful of macro-regional versions, if that plan is still proceeding?).
Although the Harry Grations of this world were obviously never going to be there for the rest of eternity, I'd hitherto never imagined a scenario where a whole glut of such long-standing regional news legends would all be leaving virtually simultaneously. Sad times.

Agreed, there is enough doom and gloom around in ITV, Sky & the BBC at the moment.

Who himself reported on Stuart Flinders’ departure. Shame to see Dave go, he’s probably the longest serving on screen personality at BBC North West, and was their editor back in the late 1980’s.
Dave ''the chief'' Guest is to depart NWT this Friday.
