I’d disagree.

BBC News NI quite clearly threw everything they had at the golf (and BBCNI replaced The One Show with a local show from Portrush all week too).

All of that would have diverted resources significantly.

I’d certainly give it a week or two for things to settle back down.

Is there only one length of titles in the English regions? Previously Look North would have used shorter titles for the short bulletins, but since the new look, the same length is used at all times (with either a daytime version or a night time version)

I’ve spotted South East Today use a shorter version for the late night news.

Look East from Cambridge managed to use the old music over the titles at 6:30?! The visuals didn't sync with the audio at all making it look like an error, but surely they don't trigger separate audio and video files at the same time to play and the two are combined?

There was also issues with the stings and outro music, sounding echo-ish... Not sure if that led to the old title music being used... Though they did use the old outro music one time last week..

They also cut to the wrong camera out of the titles. Looked a right mess.

Cambridge always has a shot of another camera at many junctions throughout the programme start and finish.

I don't know if they use SpotOn like ITN but I recall one time years ago, London Tonight played out the wrong version of the title music set against the correct visuals. The vision mixer triggers the relevant audio file to play and if this isn't set up correctly then an error like that can occur.

Does anyone know why all the regions are using the same titles music?

Why ask then? BBC English Regions has sought a uniform image since 1999/2000 and has to an extent or another managed to maintain that.
