Is there a new look?

It's not just a makeover, that really is a different person.

The thread title says new look and new host. I didn’t expect there to be a new look.

I don’t know why they persist on having a so called comedian on in the right hand chair.

Corrected. Xx

The Radio Times listing still has a picture of Dimbleby! Even though they've done a 'review' mentioning Fiona Bruce several times

Me too. I thought it was a problem with the volume on my television.

She’s a tad softly spoken at the moment, it isn’t Antiques Roadshow.

Also she’s made a bad mistake referring to spectacles as glasses. Laughing
UBox, Jamesypoo and watchingtv gave kudos

Fiona looks a tad out her comfort zone of straight news bulletins and the Antiques Roadshow.

Could be worse though. Imagine Victoria Derbyshire doing it.

Fiona probably being reminded there that she contractually has to involve Nish in the debate.

I think she's performing brilliantly. A calm but concise style, effectively challenging the panel when they don't answer questions posed by the audience.

3 lovely films later....
My contribution is small but you are welcome.

Reminds me of when BBC Four launched and they ran a huge feature on it.. only to list it as BBC Knowledge again.

She seemed a little muted to begin with (literally) but Fiona Bruce is rising well to the challenge as this edition has gone on.

Been impressed with Fiona Bruce - she's chaired it quite well and challenged the panel without making it about herself and has allowed the audience time to have their say too. This seems a less of a panto/shoutfest than normal too.
