So Ben Brown (who doesn't even have any fixed shifts) is the highest paid News Channel presenter...

It's radio peplow who get the most, jemrey vine and Ken Bruce which are shockers.

At a guess Jeremy Vine's salary as well as his Radio 2 show also includes his Eggheads presenting and election work.

I quickly copied it from Sky News, who I guess tried to post them ASAP. I've sorted the errors and inconsistencies.

And considering the number of hours per day over the course of a year these radio presenters are on air it's obvious why their salaries are on the high side. Steve Wright is on air about 17 hours per week and is rarely off air for prolonged holidays.

Ken Bruce, Steve Wright etc. also not that surprising when you realise they've been working for the Beeb for over 30 years - and probably made 'good offers' at the height of their popularity to retain their services.

Naga is a surprise, she's not really been on my radar until recently. Moira Stewart did well too as did Adrian Chiles though presumably he's on a lot less now he's returned

Mel is on there but not Sue, must be the Eurovision gig

The breakfast show presenter on 6 music gets about half the morning presenter's pay (although she does a few other things too)

Also no one from kids tv

Also I see at least 3 people who've left

I presume whoever typed the list originally, is on minimum wage !

You could question the budgets of Holby and Casualty though if they're large enough to allocate over £800,000 to the pay of three actors. I mean they're weekly soap operas...

I laughed at this way more than I should have done.

Well this lunchtime's Jeremy Vine could be interesting as 'BBC Salaries' is one of the subjects being covered/discussed.
