Exactly - she'd be in a bracket with any other business bulletin readers and should be at around the same rate as the sports bulletin readers too - that's all quite comparable. If business bulletin presenters began demanding £250k then the role would simply be axed and the stories read by the main newsreader.

Note that Fritz hasn't declared her cover shifts on Breakfast (as a presenter, rather than Biz).

Personally, considering she gave an interview to the Mail after her sudden labour, she used her contact to get her name in the media considering she's still on maternity leave.

You missed the "I reckon" out of that.

Although CRH has been there for much longer and it's not unusual for someone that has been at a company for a long period of time to be on more money than someone that has joined more recently.

Although, quite often market dynamics dictate quite the opposite can happen. New entry level salaries can be significantly higher than legacy salaries. Supply and demand. Etc.

Yes indeed. I worked for the same company for 28 years, when I left I was at the lower end of the pay scale for my grade, (however, I hung on to my final salary pension, which new entrants after 1995 were not offered, so swings and roundabouts !)
