Has anyone got an update on Mr Hayton?

Well I can't wait for next week. Wink

That'll mean he's back then ... unfortunately

Or does it mean there are more changes next week?

apart from the radio times what website can i use to find out who's presenting the weekend bulletins? Newspapers don't give presenter info and teletext doesn't either.

thanks

BBC Information did not have any details about presenters. Apparently as staff are needed to cover breaking stories etc., the on-screen lineup can change at anytime. I was referred to the Press Office website, that apparently gives details of key changes. I could not find anything.

Perhaps someone else might fancy ringing... see if you can get any more information. The number is 08700 100 222 or the switchboard as mentioned previously.

on the note of the Philip Hayton speculation, i have just been browsing on BBC Press Office and i found it interesting to find that Philip Hayton is NOT listed in the biographies section. This is a hint that perhaps he is certainly the one who has walked out. It has to be him, as every single person linked to the BBC is listed on that page.

Nah I wouldn't read too much into that. The News 24 site hasn't been updated yet with the current changes. Chris Eakin is still listed with Mazine etc.........

The Press Office biographies have never listed Philip Hayton but he is still listed in the Newswatch list. I wouldn't go by the Press Office list - it is hardly ever updated and doesn't include details of several high profile BBC News figures.

Obviously the contractual disagreements which I mentioned on Page 1 (which was largely ignored) were ironed out.
