Anna was funny 2day, she gave the link to a reporter in the NewForest with a horse next to her and said 'here's so and so and she's the one on the right'. (as Nobbin was on the left) everyone in the studio cracked up. When the outdoor link finished simon had a box of tissues on the desk and said he needed them as he'd been crying laughing.

Anyone know who's left - i'm intrigued. Philip Hayton was quite good - they seem to have the pairings all nicely sorted. Wish Dermot would go solo on 10 pm or something else and simon or bill do breakfast with natasha - it seems to be the only weak link in the presenter partnerships - and i do respect dermot just not with natasha

So today we had...

Simon & Anna (and from what's been said that worked well)
Matthew & Kate (I think Kate's good and should be given a permanent role)
Jon & Louise (both great)
Jane & Chris

If this is the new line up (i.e. Phil & Maxine have done one) then I'll be very pleased.

I live in BBC Prime land, and I saw a Kate Silverton last night on Big Strong Boys.

Is she the same one that you lot are always going on about on News 24? I guess it must be, but seems a strange switch from Big Strong Boys, to presenting the National TV News!!!!

AFAIK Maxine is only on holiday. And the presenter changes/move around was only ever going to be on N24 not nationals.

She has done a few daytime TV lifestyle shows, so that'll probably be her. She was also a regular panelist on Five's topical discussion programme, The Wright Stuff.

Matthew and Jane was always a good pairing I thought. Very professional and business-like, but with a nice friendliness between themselves. Why did they have to change it? Sad

Does anyone here find Anna Jones somewhat annoying. I'll hold my hands up, I only used to see her before christmas but ive moved back to my old job in the afternoon .But I find her immensly annoying and always end up longing for Phil just to run over and slap on the face with a giant trout.
