Out of character from his work persona, I've met him on a few occasions and only ever found him a genuinely nice guy. Shame that in the current climate this will probably end his career on the BBC.

Does anyone know what sort of cuisine the restaurant provides because I'm up in that neck of the woods in a couple of weeks.

I seem to remember before his restaurant went 'bust' a few years back it was a bit of a gastro pub, but since he's re-opened it, it may have changed.

Thanks.
I often wonder how people manage to run restaurants in their spare time while doing the day job in telly - you would have thought either job would be stressful enough.

Be careful how you discuss this guys, as a similar thread has been removed from 'The Stirrer' website forum.

(Whether this is down to 'subjudice' or the fact 'The Stirrer' himself used to work at BBC Brum with Ashley, I dunno personally? I suspect subjudice!)

It's a rather nice thai restaraunt and well worth checking out.
(I think legally we're fine to say that)
