It was fairly bizarre.
Breakfast finished, followed by a promo for the daytime shows, then the lottery numbers came on and the announcer got them wrong, then corrected herself, then up came the programme fault caption.
The announcer lady tried her best to apologise, stumbled over her words and sounded stupid, then said nothing for a minute, and straight into an ident with a v/o that sounded as though nothing had happened.

Yes, I heard this, she got caught in a loop as the first three numbers were consecutive. "Two... three... four... fi - sorry, six..."
And I was very disappointed that she was mistaken about there being a "technical programme", as I was very much in the mood for something intellectual.
Out of interest, who is she?

It was Becky Wright! Looks as if BBC Broadcasts new Broadcast Centre is having a few teathing problems. From what I hear - its an uphill struggle for the staff there at the moment... still, should make for some interesting viewing on BBC ONE and TWO in the next few weeks!

Yes, but transmission control are moving out of Television Centre to a new building further up Wood Lane.
