There are some decently defined regions of the UK defined by that organisation that we seem to be leaving soon, which would work well for regional broadcasting. Of course the B. supporters would be furious should they be adopted ....

I think this map shows the main transmitters, then when you click on a region also shows the relays. Amazing really Northern England is covers by so few - I counted six main transmitters compared to 8 in Wales and far more down South - seems counter-intuitive at first thought but I guess those in the North could be placed higher and therefore received by a wider area.

Try this, it's clearer, and doesn't suffer from UKFree TV floss/speculation, clicking on each main station then brings up a map showing the relays
