Correct indeed, it's worked out now that Dianne has the Breakfast show on Radio Manchester (along with Eammon O'Neal), the afternoon Weather reports on RM and the presenting gig on NWT. Whilst Heather Stott has the 10am-12pm slot on RM, the lunchtime Weather and Channel M News At 9, but she's off Channel M this week...
...and not to forget that Eammon O'Neal was also presenting Channel M News At 9 last week too, aswell being back on air for RM Breakfast.
Who says the presenters don't work hard?

Heather Stott presenting the weather on NWT today is that now a permanent fixture, i did read that all the radio sklots were being moved making Dianne unavailable to do the weather.

I think Gordon and Heather have a lot of chemistry between them, perhaps even more so than Gordon has with Dianne - though I think it should remain as it is (Heather Stott on lunchtimes, Dianne on 6:30). I'm sure I remember Heather presenting some 6:30 weather forecasts - years ago mind. Nichola Dixon was good, I liked the weather game.
I've noticed a bit of friction between Gordon and Tony however, particularly from Gordon's side.
Any idea when Kate Simms is due to return? I remember a feature on NWT showing Kate holding her baby - must have been very early in the year now. I haven't seen Jayne Barrett much recently either.

They're both on maternity leave so I wouldn't expect them back too soon. As for Peter H, has he gone on to bigger things? I've not seen him on any of the BBC's networked bulletins, News24 or Sky News. Has anyone else?

Really? That's interesting, I could understand Crewe or Whitchurch, but Northwich? Saying that Northwich rarely gets a mention on NWT or Granada Reports, but Central, I'd have thought it's a little too North for them.
Oddly I remember at my girlfriend's old house their aerial was rather odd, the picture wasn't 100% on the normal channels yet we could get Wales clearly, and watchable Central and Yorkshire which was really odd...
Strangely, there's an item on Granada Reports from Northwich right now...

It's been known for Central to dispatch a crew to Northwich which is at least 20 miles inside the North West. And they say the Beeb's overstaffed!

Granada Reports seems to involve Cheshire less so than NWT does. It's mainly Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire that are featured on GR.
I might just be watching the news at the wrong time, but they rarely feature places like Chester compared to NWT.
Where is the Granada/Central border?

Ostensibly the border between Salop/Staffs and Cheshire. Here's a map of transmitter coverage for Wrekin (CNW) and Winter Hill (Granada):
