Might be for copyright reasons. The show was absolutely laden with material they might be allowed to broadcast online, such as footage from 2005 and the closing montage with You'll Never Walk Alone.

I'd imagine it can all be edited out of the packages on the NWT site quite easily but it's a different story when it comes to the whole bulletin.

Permanent it seems too, this is the effect of the BBC Radio Manchester reshuffle, I wonder if this means she's staying on Channel M News At 9 too?

Has the projector in the studio changed slightly? I've only just seen the regional opt at the beginning of the 6 but I'm sure it's changed.

Something has definitely changed - at lunchtime, you could hardly see the weather map as it was so dark.

It appears to just be a black outline on the projector by the desk. It did look like it was struggling but it appears quite bright now.

A look back at the archives was shown tonight, fittingly presented by Stuart Hall and there'll be another feature about the archives on NWT tomorrow evening. There is also an interesting history section on the website, including a look back at the previous titles and formats.

I still prefer the headlines to be read out before the titles and I seem to remember this working particularly well with the current headline bed leading into the current (slightly altered) titles.

When did they change it around to showing the titles first followed by the headlines and sting?

With all the stuff on the nwt site about the program in the past. Is it a sign of a new look? I hope so
