So I guess Mark Edwardson will be sidelined from now on? Or perhaps he will replace that terrible breakfast woman!!!

I just saw Mark presenting the Saturday evening bulletin. And I think he was there last week too. Perhaps it's his turn to do weekends?

Am I missing something? Just watched the end of NWT then and Gordon handed over to Annabel Tiffin in the Newsroom for a full recap of the National and North West headlines, is this a new thing or are all BBC English regions starting to do the same as the Nations at 6.55pm?

The regions have all been given extra time, although they use it in different ways, ie although each region have a headline recap, they vary in lenght. It is not really a new thing, it just seems that they have reverted to the pre 1999 format, where the regions did the headlines.

A NWT 'This is what we do' style trail is now available to view on the website NWT Homepage, it features some old title music though.

Not bad at all. Now, if only we could get online streaming so we can catch up with the show if we miss it.

They're showing it on TV aswell, I noticed it at 7pm the other night, it reminds me alot of the one they did in 2000, which had a similar theme, though that one tended to focus more on their award winning presenters and reporters.

I like the two different themes being mixed on that promo too.

I notice that NWT have added "RTS Best Regional News Programme" to the end cap now.

Is there a particular reason why the theme tunes aren't consistent. The shorter bulletins and the sting use the BBC LDN tune whilst the main titles use the Look North tune.

Are there any sites which show the titles/music on NWT - up to date? TV Ark and TV room used to, but TV ark is closed at the minute and the tv room has deleted the the title clips it once had.

TV Whirl has a set of the current titles with the LDN style music from 2004.

I couldn't believe it, I flipped NWT on Thursday night through the Weather to find out they were only about 2 minutes from my house. Although I've never seen Morris dancers about mind you. Plus Gordon and Dianne gave a very good plug for us, as Gordon came shopping last weekend apparently.

Anyone else getting sick of Tony Livesey's "me, me, me, I, I, I, myself, myself, myself" style during the sport?
