Considering Gordon was voted Presenter of the Year at the NW RTS why did he disappear from tonight's show?
Jayne Barrett did an interview with a Financial Lawyer and Dan Walker interviewed the Chairman of Burscough.
Apart from the start and finish of the show Gordon was barely seen?
Are they trying to squeeze him out to make the show fronted by two Presenters?

A report on Man Utd's Champions League defeat was unwatchable because of the pictures permanently shuddering yet they allowed it to be transmitted in full!

I caught that, I thought it was my NTL playing up, though it was evident when an aston appeared normally whilst the report was juddery. At least Gordon interrupted Dan at the end of the report to apologise for the shaky condition of it and the performance of Manchester Utd.
NWT does have bad problems, on several occassions the Headlines at 6.30pm sound like they're being played off an old VHS tape, even the sound appears to be muffled from time to time.
If they had a server they'd probably do that.. not too long now.. its being built at the moment apparently
Do you know if this is part of a more comprehensive technology upgrade? They really do need it - poor studio camera image quality, crappy graphics etc.
Unrelated, but WHY do they insist on using the rear-projection screen to do the weather on? I can hardly see anything on it (plus ever since the new graphics came in, the orientation of the map means I can't work out where I am on it), why can they just not do it by chromakey again?

Do you watch the national news? The idea being that the regions look like a continuation of the network programme, Network do the weather with the big screen... I reckon it looks better than CSO, which is so 90's ....

I would have no problem with that if I could see the bloody thing! It is hard to work out the cloud shadows on the map due to the poor contrast of the screen, it just doesn't work.

as far as I know its a complete rufurb, new gallery new cameras, etc etc
