To my mind, Presenter changes are not needed.

In my opinion Gordon remains one of the very best presenters I've seen of any news organisation. If only the format of the show would be improved, as you rightly say, to include more 'real' news and less trivial features.

As the presenter is the guy we see most throughout the show he is bound to be synonymous with the viewers feelings and opinions on the show but we should not be making him the scapegoat for format decisions beyond his control.

Stop the press... tonight we have giant pumpkins on the show.

Since the weekend the cameras and lighting seem much improved in the studio - it all seems much clearer and crisper on the screen now. I wonder if they had some work done over the weekend?

As QPSK is clearly involved in NWT (how else would they know about the bone before it was broadcast) maybe a BIG dollop of news would be a good start!
In fact, reading their posts, I get the impression they have a senior role behind the scenes at NWT!

I wonder if they could combine dinosaurs and pumpkins - get it all out of the way together!
