At the bottom left seems to be a national BBC News style desk, with the panel of glass for screens. They must be going to a national variation. Hope it would end up like Midlands Today, i really like that set

I can't believe the fact that NWT will be getting a new look! Well overdue, I didn't know it as I was at work, will be again on Monday, but I'll be taping it!

And for the 10pm they're coming from the Newsroom with BBC GMR logos all over the place!

It will be very interesting which style they'll be using or if they'll be copying any other regions. I think this couldn't have come at a better time as the show is getting more watchable again, Granada Reports though good as it is has too much of the fake jokes and E-Mail us at the minute.

I wonder if the PC monitors in the Newsroom are giving a hint at the new look, as they're displaying BBC North West on the current background of the end bit of the usual NWT titles.

Though they mentioned at the end of the 10.25pm that they're in the Newsroom because of the new look and they showed a clip of the studio being dismantled, and they've got rid of that window!!

Though it's a shame they couldn't have used the CSO for the weekend, you could imagine it now, Breakfast style....

"Now we join our News teams across the UK..."
(THUMP) NWT titles play.....cuts to Tina Bangs in huge yellow chair in the bad CSO set.

Yeah i did think they might use CSO but nope the newsroom was picked. Can't wait for Monday they might even give Gorden a Co-Host or maybe that's asking for to much.

Since Fiona Trott came along, everything seems to of changed at BBC North West.

What's she got to do with it? Presenters (apart from Gordon) get very little say in the style of the programme. That's the job of producers and directors.

It looks like it's going to change on this thread for each time the webcam image has been posted here. As far as I can
tell, it appears that the NWT studio webcam sends the image, which is autosaved on the server as "manchester3.jpg".

Or, something like that.
