Terrible start to the programme tonight, clearly the intro to the programme and hedlines are recorded.

From the start of the titles on George and Sian' cue right through to the opening wide-shot, including Annabel's introduction, the headlines and the sting, the picture was shaking violently. Looked awful.

Why do they not do this live? What is the advantage of recording it?

Who presented the lunchtime news today, because I think Annabel said she would be back for the late show?

NWT is now getting like GR with all these "email us your thoughts" and competition rubbish.

Annabell said Carol will be back for the late news and Annabell presented lunchtime today.

I agree. That shakey start was awful. I thought it was my TV!

Like your pointless postings then.

Don't you just love people not being able to cope with differing opinions?

I was at home for one night only last night and watched NWT and was shocked whren i saw Anabelle presenting. Gordon seems to be off sa lot at the moment. But i still think she kept the programme flowing very well as usual, so it was nice to see her again, has she been on all week??? She is most certainly the producers fave girl at the moment for presentign isn't she?? I hope we see more of her!

No not all week, she on yesterday and Friday if I remember correctly.

Stuart Flinders presented at the begining of the week and also today.

Agreed that Annabel is good presenting NWT, her skills are much more widely used than when presenting the bulletin at the end of the Ten, although I wouldn't be keen on a double-headed NWT, IMO anything to make it more similar to GR is disaterous.

Stuart Flinders is pants he's just a dull newsreader where you slowly fall asleep. hmm seems like there's competition for him now. with Anabelle! Wonder if theres a female in charge at nwt, 95% of the presenters are now women! Great i say equality at work!!!!

Hmm yes, she does seem somewhat less animated these days. Even when she first went to weekend she was still quite lively.

Apparently her contracts not being renewed.. Ravinr Singh to present weekends..

Tina Bangs I mean...

Shame really, Tina Bangs used to be great on Breakfast, and as I share an interest in the arts and theatre her Thursday "The Guide" was always very interesting!

TBH, not keen on Ranvir Singh, a bit wooden IMO.

NWT seems to have too many presenters anyway. I can think of around 9, and considering Gordon does most of it you would wonder why they need so many.

Oh no! Tina's going? Why has her contract been scrapped? Wonder what she'll do now.?

I like Ranvir although she is very enthusiastic and a bit over the top sometimes.

Tina was better on Radio City 96.7 News in the Morning, maybe she will switch to Granada?
