I think it's stayed the same really. The only thing I don't like is Ranvir's banter - too false.
Actually, thinking about it I did prefer NWT with just one presenter. Perhaps if they wanted to give Ranvir a more prominant role, she could have taken over the lunchtime bulletin, leaving Gordon to do the evening. Just a thought...

Nearly a year since the show changed format - do you think it's improved or got worse, particularly with regards to having two presenters?

I presume that as On the Edge was Stuart Flinders' project last year, and this year he appears to have BBC News Channel commitments, then they're doing something different with Kate Sims Sandstone Tales.

"Also is there an 'on the edge' this year?"
I guess not, they were well into it by this time last year.

Anyone know why Jayne Barrett had a fine collection of multicoloured wooden fruit lashed to a length of twine around her neck at lunchtime?

Gordon noy on this lunchtime? Nor Ranvir? Instead we get Eleanor . I don't think she's presented before, so its nice to see other people getting a chance to present.

My thoughts exactly about the revamp when it first started and even today - now they have two presenters, the banter doesn't work at the end as well. Last night's was the perfect example with Gordon and Ranir on the sofa, joined by Diane and Tony later, plus a guest!
That was very irritating - unfortunately they said it'll be back in November...
