Noticed they added the box on the Lunchtime today, it just seems pointless, either have it as BBC North West Today/Tonight or North West Today/Tonight from BBC News, it just looks stupid having both.
Technically under BBC guidelines website addresses can only be showed to one level beyond the domain. Interestingly it seems an end cap is not something that was provided to all the regions. Depsite almost, if not all of them requiring it, and them all having similar information to include.
Chas says two BBC Logos is NOT a breach of guidelines as they have been edited accordingly.

I think that Tony and Ranvir work relatively well together. Tony is a great presenter and a valuble asset to NWT, however as others said he performs better on lighter stories and sport than the more serious items. As a stand in for Gordan, Tony is fine but as a possible permanent replacement i dont think he quite has it.

Announcement into the news at one said the news was with Kate and someone whose name I've never heard before. Then after the headlines there was no "coming up in the north west", we had what was coming up in the sport on the BBC NC. Problems in the north west I wonder?

I saw peter Marshall this afternoon he was in the queue next to me whist wakiting for a coffee. i must say he actually looks younger in real life.Must have been his lunch hour.

Interestingly presented infront of the studio screens, without the blue backdrop, rather than CSO.
Also, the 'Your news is our news' promo aired tonight still with the black/red logos on the screens but with an updated BBC News branded white/red endcap.
Jayne Barret presented with Tony tonight, i recall her doing a weeks worth of NWT a few years back.

They really need to get rid of the scrolling North West Today/Tonight at the bottom of the 'window' screens. just looks tacky.
And they need to get someone to check, before going on air, whether it is actually 'today' or 'tonight' that should be in use! they have got it wrong a few times now!!
I reckon - if they HAVE to have the words - they should just sit once centred at the bottom of the screens and not scroll.

No, I think they should stay. At the beginning of the rebrand the studio looked really out of place as it was all blue and white, yet red was the colour in the titles - at least the bar gives it a bit of red. However, they do need to check the "today" and "tonight" as it has gone wrong before.

a new newsreader on the late edition of North west tonight. Haven't seen her before she was quite good though she seemed a bit nervous. loks like the weather was pre recordrd tonighjt for some reason??
