The power of the internet:
Stuart Flinders' piece about 'Rick-Rolling' on Monday night's NWT has subsequently been uploaded to YouTube:

In his piece, Stuart also included a clip from another YouTube user who shows how to escape from a Rick-Roll. And if you look at the comments to the piece, said user has his say about the piece, from America.

I really do miss the window as it made it look more open and perhaps bigger. It also added variety throughout the year.

The summer titles are back now - this is the time of year I'll miss the 'window', it added a nice touch to the old studio seeing the evening sun lighting up Oxford Street behind Gordon.

The camera is still up because when the lunch time weather went wrong last time they used the same view.

I feel sorry for Anabelle she seems to be being shunted around a lot this week. Monday on the breakfast slot and Wednesday on the late bulletin! Wonder why naomi doesn't present the morning bulletins now??

Does anyone know what the forthcoming BBC News rebrand means for the North West? Will the relatively new look be replaced by a standard regional news look?

I doubt the regionals will change. Over the years they seem to have ditched the unified look for a more let's be slightly different look. Look at NWT looks better than it has done in years and Gordon and Ranvir are great together.

Even NWT? Surely not after just 7 months?!
I think every region is included. It would be stupid to bring back a consistent look and leave one region out...
With any luck, they will use a similar idea for the titles for all regions.

All Regions will get the new graphics and titles. I am not sure what will change studio wise however...
