BBC North West Tonight

I can't ever remember either of them presenting bulletins in the studio. I may have missed them (obviously, I haven't seen every NWT since it began) but I'm fairly certain they haven't.

I'm 99% certain Colin has presented news bulletins occasionally. But not the flagship show. Dave G seems to be able to do everything (he was once the team's editor) so I wouldn't be surprised to find he'd stepped into the breach when necessary.

Dave Guest has certainly presented an evening bulletin before (I think it was a Friday during the Peter Marshall era).

Not sure about Colin though.

Seems to be sort of technical problem with the lighting in the last few minutes of the show - I thought it was just so they couldn't see what they were eating but yeah all the lighting went and different lights seem to went on and off lol. Bet there was alot of fuss backstage.

Yet, it was quite funny...

Did I see a smile creeping across Gordon's face tonight when Ranvir said she'd be out of the studio tomorrow?

Some new behind the scenes pictures on the website now - it appears there is no autocue pedal now. It's controlled by someone in an untidy looking corner.

Does anyone have any caps of the weekend titles by any chance?

Too much hopping tonight; three times they went to Ranvir then back to Gordon - it was getting annoying.

And where's Diane? She certainly said she was going to be there tonight.
