Could anyone tell me the locations of the previous titles? I know they used Blackpool South Shore (showing the senior citizens) along with Jodrell Bank but where were the other titles located at?
(ie. footballers running through the park, man walking the dog, the kids paddling in the sea, the bridge, girls in town..)

I think
all regions
should incorporate this style of opening titles. Not only do they incorporate the local place names of the 1999 relaunch, but also the pictures of local places from the 2002/03 relaunches and a hint of the nationals with the strong reds.
BBC London is the one region I think would benefit most.

That wide shot at the start of the lunchtime bulletin is very odd, why bother building a flashy new set if you're going to show an ugly studio wall.
Its a nice relaunch with instant wow factor but will probably age quickly with that horrible floor and the lack of studio furniture, the four shot at the end of the evening bulletin was so empty. The sport's presenter accidentally hit the nail on the head with his joke about not being stuck behind a plant, they need things like that in the sofa area to warm it up a bit.

I think even the addition of "teatrays" like the National News would add to the furniture as it is a bit empty.
Incidently, those who mentioned that they miss Oxford Road, when watching the quickened video of the revamp in the making slowly I'm sure I spotted the below cap which has Oxford Road on the projector behind the presenters.

Granted it's not clear, but when looking on my TV I'm sure it was. Either this was just to check the projector was working (but I doubt that as they use the test card) or they tried it out and didn't like it...

The man walking the dogs was in Runcorn, just under the bridge.

Who would cover for Gordon Burns on the Lunchtime Edition? I am surprised that Ranvir is not utilised more either at lunchtime or late evening. NWT must have a wealth of talent compared to BBC Scotland.

I doubt they will but they should.
The BBC London titles are still awful even a couple of years on. Not that they are being used to their full potential.
The new NWT ones are great (excpet perhaps the 'live news, local news your news' bit which is very cringy

A superb relaunch - I hope BBC London follows suit with the graphics and music.
