Earlier this evening BBC Newsline and Wales Today joined forces... with a live OB from the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff transmitted on both programmes. Donna Traynor and Jamie Owen co-presented.
Has this kind of thing ever happened before with any other BBC National/Regional News programmes, or is this a first?
It all seemed to work quite well. Except for the end of Newsline where we saw the usual wide-shot of the studio... this normally works well as you can see the two presenters plus Angie (weather) and Stephen (sport). However with Donna, Stephen and Angie all on location poor old Mark Carruthers looked very alone
