I wasn't aware that there was an international version, is it just a re-edited version of the UK one?

I think it was just a compilation programme for BBC America, not sure if it's still on there.

Like I said, it's still made but now only shown at weekends on World News, not America. It started off looking like this but has since adopted the domestic look.

New links are recorded each Thursday with reports taken from the past week. It has the same branding as the UK edition.

Jeremy kindly donated a fabulous blooper last night.

Starting at 25.25 - he had trouble reading what he referred to as 'the machine' - autocue!

What is more interesting is the very neat little trombone shot as they move the camera closer to hm so he can see the autocue better but keep him the same size (note the background flying backwards as he stays still)

At last...I see Newsnight finally have their new sofa...a red number, different to Breakfast's one though, and not quite as stylish as the old purple one...shame.

When did they stop using the desk frontage? It was just the red colour last night (Tuesday)

*EDIT* Oh, it's back (Wednesday night). Perhaps just a mistake.

Indeed, that picture is at least 4 years old! Not 'recently taken' by any stretch of the imagination.
