Let me guess... train ticket for Katherine ?

She's booking the train tickets as we speak, she'll only have to change twice

Depends on route - 3 on offer:

Using the 06:21: Boston - Grantham - York - Harrogate

Using the 07:51: Boston - Sleaford - Lincoln - Doncaster - York - Harrogate

Using the 09:34: Boston - Grantham - Leeds - Harrogate.

Whatever, that finalises my plans for July!

You might like to know that they run regular shuttle buses from Harrogate train station to the showground and back during the GYS. Don't forget to pre-order tickets for the show as well - they're more expensive on the gate.

I would like an assurance that Mr Schiller will reserve my place for another shot at newsreading. In vision, maybe?

Their new Open Centre, I presume. They've finally moved out of Epic House!

So, no dates arranged for NW England then?

(Shame on you, BBC. You're getting no TV Licence money from my household next year!)

Is it anything like the 6 o'clock news's election coverage when they presented coverage on a bus

Totally different - the whole point of News and Sport on Tour is for the audience to have a go and meet people from News and Sport, rather than it being a 'broadcast' thing, although some programmes do broadcast from it.

I went to the BBC News on Tour last year in my city of Edinburgh and it was absolutely fantastic. I got to do the weather + a radio broadcast and I met Darren Brett + Jane Hill - which was great. I strongly recommend it. If you have an interest in news, current affairs and media (like me) then go along...you learn a lot about how BBC News works and also you get to have loads of fun!!
