Nitpicking here, but the UEFA logo changed six years ago...
I wish they'd stick to a wide shot of the screens like that more often, rather than the crop-zoom they tend to do.
If you can't see a presenter's eyes clearly, there's definitely a barrier though, it's like someone shouting at you from a distance. You'd naturally move closer to talk to someone - except you can't. The screens are wallpaper - the presenter is the important element in that shot.
Very slick job on the 10 tonight following Amber Rudd's resignation whilst the programme was on air. Robert Peston tweeted the news bang on 10pm but the breaking news notification on the website/app didn't follow for a few minutes later, whilst they were in a report about North Korea. Then, quick chat about the story with a correspondent, and a report looking back on her downfall that has presumably been in the can for the past few days!
The Amber Rudd news broke just as BBC One and ITV were starting their late bulletins. I had Sky News on who were running a report on the 'growing calls to resign' when the breaking news banner appeared, took them a little while longer to cut away from the report (presumably getting ready to talk to their political correspondent).
Both BBC and ITV were able to talk about it immediately following a report, in fact ITV were also running a report about Amber Rudd anyway.
I guess they expected her to go a bit sooner as the VT BBC News is airing did just reference a statement to the House of Commons Rudd made 'yesterday' (when the statement was on Friday)!

Clearly done Friday as it referenced the Guardian's reporting of the memo as "today" with a screenshot of the website with the date visible.

To be fair there was Social Media rumors that she was going on Friday before she put out the announcement that she was making another statement on Monday (which now of course won't be happening thanks to the resignation coming through bang on 10:00pm tonight.)
Thanks for all the questions, before I go to bed (it’s 05.45 here) let me show you how my cameraman was dressed for my live on #BBCNewsTen What would Lord Reith say? pic.twitter.com/PzO2mtVXY2
How was the LiveU connection? A lot of them were increasingly spotty yesterday and the host broadcaster Mediacorp had to refeed some footage I understand.
I imagine they were connected via the hotels wireless connection but even that (from my experience) can be slow.
