Don't get all excited. It'll simply be a logistics reason as to why the bulletin came from N24. BBC One obviously decided to schedule a bulletin on BBC One after The Politics Show as well as having the summary in the main programme. However the is only one main studio crew on on a Sunday so it'll be many of the same people who staff The Politics Show studio and the National News studio and they can't move between the two that quickly. Simple option rather than spending lots of money bringing in more people is to use the N24 studio. Just a simple case of saving money. Philip Hayton was the on duty N24 presenter so no problem in him doing a BBC One summary.
Why is the BBC news on one Being done in the N 24 studio with the same graphics?
Is there a new studio next week? Please!!
No the BBC1 studio was used in breakfast with frost this morning
Still a shame
That isn't actually the BBC One studio - nor is it on The Politics Show. It's just a CSO backing on the Nationals studio. The presenter is actually sitting a few feet away from Sir David in the same position they always used to be in.

Also N6 was being used for the BBC World TV and World Service Radio Interactive programme Talking Point.
