Yes as are most of the News presenters

None of the others felt it was necessary to feather their own nests at the expense of their colleagues

According to allmediascotland.com (a site I believe has links to the NUJ up here) the strike is likely to continue to impact on services tomorrow. They suggest that Good Morning Scotland will only last half an hour tomorrow instead of the usual three hours, due to the lack of reports compiled the previous day. Presumably the same sort of thing will impact on Today, and other programmes.

I never thought I'd see the day the BBC relied on RTE for reports by the way. Oh dear. At least they're not relying on Sky News for NUJ comments now. It did seem rather pathetic that Reporting Scotland, and some other regional news programmes, seemed to make a concerted effort to undermine the strike. Compare their pictures to Scottish TV's. The BBC is known for reporting on its own affairs with admirable impartialty (Hutton anyone?) so the regions should be doing the same.

It's a bit poor they still haven't managed to put up a 'recorded' bug.

This is going out complete with erroneous timechecks.

hmm were these crap opts back due to dodgy counts on network talkback or just ignoring them? Leeds were late back at 18:30, crashing into the Radio2 trail

Did noone else get this caption then? BBC One London crashed into it from Cole channel-checking on News 24.
