Apparently at least one of those stories was filed a fortnight ago. Not sure if there simply hadn't previously been room for it, or if they'd deliberatley stockpiled it.
I was on the phone at the time so missed the Reporting Scotland bulletin - did it actually finish, or did the weather just crash straight into it?

This actually is a damn good bulletin with a widespread content element. I'd like more like this. A good mix of domestic, European and world stories.

Who the heck is Susan Donald. She just did Reporting Scotland and she looked scared and frozen to the seat.
On RP she just said that was it and cut straight to weather cutting off the start of the bulletin.
It's like watching the CBBC Channel. lol
Hang on now I don't think I saw that pixel on Click Online last time.

I have to agree with this. The format and agenda was far superior to a normal BBC One bulletin IMV. All that was (possibly) missing was a headline summary at 15 minutes.
Additionally, everything that was presented was useful - no pointless OBs, no pointless graphics.
As an aside, using the TOG looked better than the normal BBC1 bulletin graphics as well.

Who presented BBC London News? (edit: just got answer on previous page)

She seem relieved that the 3 minute bulletin was over, and she was slow and paused too much.

And he's dreadful.
Just goes to show that the BBC has far too many over-paid managers, and it's these people that should be sacked from the BBC. The BBC has more suits than talent, and as we have seen today which is very clear - the suits have no talent, and it amazes me how they are in the high positions that they occupy.

God, the ITV News mock-up of the national studio, looks better than the real thing on BBC1. Penny Marshall has been in it for the Briefing.
