So, let me get this right, from what I've read, is this what we expect to happen:
A shorter Breakfast to come from the N24 or World studio,
Shorter 1, 6 and 10 o'clock bulletins coming from the N24 studio
And 5 minute regional bulletins?

Has anyone got any more details?
By the way, is the strike only set to take place on Monday, or are there other dates planned?

I can't remember the last BBC strike - has anyone got any pictures or video footage of how BBC News was presented - someone said something about Sian Williams presenting the 6 from the News 24 studio last time...

Here you go, here's Sian Williams doing the 6.00pm bulletin on News 24, thats all I have on tape, as I don't remember if they mentioned the strike, but the Presentation style was rather unusual for News 24 and was better IMO.

BBC News 24, Strike, 6pm Bulletin

If they can't find a scab or two to present, will we see a producer or editor on screen having a go instead?

Mark Thompson. If he's so ffing smart, he should try cutting jobs down so that he's the only one left.

The above is all speculation, no-one really knows. Management can't make any decisions until Monday morning when they find out how few people they have in.

Well it's not as good as 2001, so I think you can leave out the kleenex.

Harshy, you are an absolute idiot. Not only have your comments about wanting Tony Blair dead in the other thread shown this to be the case, but all you're worried about is the way News 24 or BBC World will look on Monday, when around 4000 people's jobs are on the line.

Grow up, and stop making stupid, ridiculous comments.
