Hmm. Good to see that they're not pretending everything is normal and even wanted to put the union's views across (even if it meant saying: "The unions won't speak on the BBC but here's what they told Sky News.")
The BBC are holding up very well, but lets take a look at the victims of the strike so far now that we are halfway through;
BBC News 24:- Holding up well, but a very stringy service compared to normal
BBC World:- Almost a total loss, relying on News 24 to keep going
The Daily Politics:- Cancelled, the Flying Gardner in its place
Radio 4's Today Programme:- Cancelled
BBC Breakfast:- Basically BBC News 24's stringy service
Radio Five Live:- Overnight relied on pre-recorded programming, breakfast was stringy, not sure on the rest of the day's output so far.
Just heard also that Working Lunch is Cancelled and The Egg: A Wildlife Guide presented by Keith Floyd is in its place.
Why is Susan Osmond Presenting on News 24 .Surely she should be supporting her fellow colleagues .
I dont know funky , i thought she was finished with ( and at ) the BBC . I 'm surprised to see Daisy Sampson and Julia Caesar working today, very surprised.
