Quite funny crumbling on the graphics just then. They did an 'In Brief' summary, at the end of which the strap became stuck on screen. It then stayed on, overlaid over the 'Still to come' strap on the following item.

The whole lot then vanished, Tower and all. They then desperatly tried to get the tower back on its own, but it would not seperate from the strap, and kept flashing up and vanishing again. They've got it sorted now - tower is back

Weather overnight all recorded with Jo Farrow. Lousie Lear is on this morning, look like live bulletins. Will weather be unaffected?

Who operates the Stock Exchange studio? And why is Declan there, not in the N24 studio co-presenting Breakfast?

Quite funny really Akhtar is introducing Breakfast on BBC One/ News 24 yet the BBC One EPG has been adapted to simply say BBC News 24 til 9:15.
Is there any numbers on those who are striking yet? NUJ statement?

How much longer can Aktar last for? He's doing pretty well for his 8th consecutive hour on air, but is starting to sound a bit tired.

BBC 1 just opted out of News 24, with a still saying "The next News is on BBC One at 1.00pm."

Surely he's going to be pretty unpopular with his colleagues after this. On second thoughts, as a travel presenter, he is probably never around anyway!! He's probably getting a nice bonus from the management as well!!

And isn't this an excellent career opportunity... Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the not to distant future on this mornings performance.
