Now of course Dyke was all wrong for the BBC and Thompson is great

I'm not sure it's true that all managers luv Tommo. Maybe his top team say they do, but line mangers certainly do not.

Some of the BBC Radio stations on Freeview have advice notices on their MHEG screens saying "Todays Schedules may be subject to change due to industrial action at the BBC". Some of the radio websites are saying this too, especially BBC Radio 4's that have now published a revised schedule and left notices saying that the sites may not be updated for 24 hours!

They've certainly left their mark when exiting the building....

So BBC News24 and i'm assuming BBC World are in Click Online, with BBC One due to join at 00:55......... will BBC One just crash straight into Click Online??

Actually, BBC World is currently showing Extra Time as scheduled. Aster Adrian said "This is BBC News", we saw him turn to face the other camera, then the weather came on, followed by a 2 min breakfiller. We did not see any news headlines at :30. There was just an ident with music, then then the voiceover came on and then it paused a bit before Extra Time started.

There is absolutly no reason why not. There are plenty who are coming out.

If they agree they should go on strike.

There is a certain level past where the union doesn't welcome their membership (although I suspect the NUJ might be slightly diffrent )

In terms of departmental managers, senior editorial staff and higher, they are normally not welcome on strike. Certainly in my department the issue of defining who is management and who isn't came up in the first strike meeting.

Oh would you get off your soap box! Inject a little humour into your life: you'll live longer.

BBC World Asia feed with Asia Business Report and now a repeat of Asia Today (the one shown at 11.45pm, but that was probably a repeat as well).

Thanks for the advice, but that picture is totally pathetic.

Radio 4 has a shipping forecast, but does anyone know what World Service is broadcasting? Radio 4 is supposed to join it in a few moments after the shipping.
