It's not the first time BBC News has been spoofed on South Park. There's this from a 2014 episode...

Shows the strength of the brand, that the elements can be combined in a basic form, and be instantly recognisable. Even down to the studio fixtures and layout.

They also did a very accurate recreation of Glenn Beck's Fox News titles a few years ago. Cartman took over broadcasting the morning announcements and turned the slot into a right-wing conspiracy-fest...

It's a very good likeness of Simon McCoy, I wonder if he knows about this?
