That IS what the thread is about, you stupid child.

Yes I know, but I'd rather discuss what was being discussed before Nick started loud mouthing this thread

What was being discussed before I said a word in this thread was something that happened at one o'clock in the morning on a Sunday last August.

Now, which bit of that sentence is it that's not getting through your thick skull?

Nice use of English there.

So you agree, we should talk about the screw up in August then?

Good point, Uncle.

Whilst we're on the subject of English, it would be more accurate to say that a monologue was occuring prior to my intervention with the initial joke.

Surely a discussion is bi-partisan by definition and, therefore, rather difficult when only one post had been made.

My crusty old dictionary says: "A formal discourse on a topic," and since the topic was a BBC News screw up in August, we should be talking about that, surely?

I don't think there's any point in leaving this topic open, since I doubt there can be much constructive discussion about a relatively minor event which happened five months ago.

In future, try to remember to create a new thread rather than bring something out of that black hole which threads disappear into. It's OK if it's about a month old or less, but something nearly half a year old should really be confined to the dustbin of history.
