During the overnight service (1.00) with Deborah McC had a few problems, im not sure for how long, only tunned in at the top of the hour, there was a red line, in place of the TOG, the headlines images were out of sync, the titles where then played with a live shot of DMcC in studio rather than the titles, they stopped half way though and DMcC introduced now with a different, sounded like the National Headline Bed playing, that stopped, then went to the titles again, this time in vision, which then froze with the headline going around the globe for a good minute, then cut back to DMcC and a report on the Iraq Violence, waited about 20 seconds then cut to reports. No Graphics, TOG remained out of use for a further 4 minutes. At 6 minutes past 1 TOG returned, although I believe, but am willing to be corrected that BIG TED was been used. Rolling Eyes

Some new Euro-measure of weight that I'm not yet familiar with?

Oh get a life! He spelt something wrong... no big deal!

All you ever seem to do is moan about people's spelling!

I'm sure anyone with half a brain could work out what he meant without a second thought!

It's a shame they seem to have had a few problems of late. I still think overnights are one of the best produced slots on N24. They make good use of the camera up top and do some of the interviews with the opposite screen being used.

I know that Alastair Yates and Deborah MacKenzie do the overnights, but who else fills in now at weekends, etc? It used to be Susan Osman, but I don't recall seeing her for a long time.

Admittedly, I don't see it every day either. But, I do see most days, and lately it has only been Al or Debs on air.

at the moment Clarence Mitchell, Tim Wilcox and Jake Lynch.

Hey Nick, you're a loud mouth! I'd never have associated that word with you. You're the most unassuming person on Earth. Especially after copious amounts of red wine.

Or at least he was last August, when those comments were actually posted.

Why on Earth has this thread been dragged up again?

Awful screw up this morning on N24. VT relating to story of graves being dug up was left on for ages whilst the headline bed was playing, then the generic "BBC News" strap titles (ie BBC One News style) appeared (start was cut off). Then suddenly the normal N24 titles played (sound faded for a bit) and then normal!
