The Nine will be lucky to make a 2100 start tonight. A rather nasty injury in the first half of tonight's football Dunfermline - Ayr (yes I am watching) has meant that the HT interval was only reached at 1959, so ending match coverage at 2100 seems highly unlikely.
Guess it isn't to much of an issue, though does it use the same gallery as Reporting Scotland, so need to be off air in time for the 10pm headline opt?
Seems that the countdown into the bulletin at 210000 is a fixture, there was no such device used for the late arriving version ticking to 210500. A plain start as per the usual bulletin, but titled without the countdown was used.

I think the 10 o'clock bulletin uses BCR (Bulletin Control Room) - Studio C used to be used for Newsnight Scotland (and its erstwhile successors)
Well no Scottish local or Parliament elections this year, so they must be expecting an unexpected election.
What on earth is BBC scotland planning on? There don't do EU elections since it takes until the friday morning for the results to come out. It would be a waste on BBC Scotland. There is only thing thing it could be...

Also, heard the set builders commenting that a bigger table was to be installed in London...
