Not sure if mentioned elsewhere (I did have a quick look), but did BBC1 Scotland get any late night national news on Saturday, as I know BBC1 Scotland were showing sport when the news was on other BBC1 networks? Rolling Eyes

Yes we did and it was tailored especially for us here in scotland. The bulletin that went out in the rest of the uk had the england football story in the headlines but on our bulletin the scotland team got the mention in the headlines and were the first sports story

Yes - it isn't unusual for the BBC One Network News team to do a live re-run (often a slightly different duration with a different story mix) of a bulletin just for BBC One Scotland, if sporting coverage means Scotland can't take the normal bulletin.

Yes, recall ITN doing the same many years ago too, when Sandy Gall solo anchored a 15 minute version of News at Ten (shown at 9pm!!!!!!!) strictly for the STV and Grampain regions, as we had world cup football or something across the regular slot.

The rest of the UK still got the full and normal version of News at Ten with Sandy Gall and Martyn Lewis at 10pm.

I wonder if this will see calls for a Scottish Six emerge again?

ITV News have done a special bulletin for HTV Wales in the past.

Was the Scotland bulletin pre-recorded then or did it start after englands bulletin finished?

Not sure, but on previous occasions they have been live.
