it doesn’t seem to me that Carrie has enjoyed her job over the last 2 years. No sparkle in her eye like she used to have on the news channel.

She's hardly ever on these days, 3 maybe 4 hours a week. News at Nine on Mondays and Newsroom Live on Fridays, as well as occasionally doing an evening shift once every other week as well as the News at Five, and sometimes covering Shaun Ley on Dateline. Nothing compared to when she used to bounce off Simon McCoy 4 mornings a week.

Plus she's on a bigger salary too now which makes it worse she doesn't seem motivated. I can definitely see her leaving soon.

Total poppycock!

She's main cover for Antia and Simon, first and foremost and she's also a main cover for the 5. The BBC are treating her as she should be treated- with respect.

Carrie ain't going nowhere.

I'm not sure you're watching the same channel?

That last sentence is going to age well if (and when) she does indeed quit/leave! (not that i'm hoping she does but i can see it happening at some point!)

Why would she quit a fantastic salary? What are you thinking of? I they lay her off, she's laughing. She's been with the BBC for decades.
