It doesn't!
I was refering to the footer and the like. I cant say I'm a fan of the boxed logos. BBC One, and BBC Three have broken from the box, so why is BBC News going backwards?

If the stack box logo features heavily in the new branding, why does the online site use the horizontal logo.

Doesn't make sense at all to introduce the box when it's being faded out in other parts of the BBC branding (BBC1, BBC3).
I guess we'll be seeing them fail a bit more often then once News 24 moves in.

I noticed they were having problems with one of the Barco screens in TC7 yesterday. The same one flickered briefly on both the Six and Ten last night. I suppose they've done quiet well not to fail on screen more often.

Even though it's been explained here hundreds of times that they never turn the screens off in N6 or TC7 anyway, so all day use by News 24 won't make a difference.

But as Brekkie says, we will see them fail more often.

Yes but as N6's screens will be on-air more often, by a simple extrapolation, we will see them fail more often...

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, always a bit difficult with as huge a thread as this, but has it been said what's going to happen on overnights? Perhaps the work currently being done might change this, but N6 doesn't seem to be designed to be in use 24/7, so I'm guessing overnights might come from N9 (and then later N8 )? Also I wonder if World will be getting the new titles and graphics at the same time, or if they'll wait until the move to N8.

There are significant hardware upgrades going on in N6, presumably to make it into a workable 24/7 studio. Unless BBC World start taking over responsibility for over-nights, I think N6 is the one.
