What's wrong with it is that its just too big. It's fine for programme websites as the logo needs to be shown. It should be cut down to the height of the search box on the News/Sport pages.

On a positive note, the more I see that image of the new branding, the more it grows on me. I'm hopeful that it's going to look great on-screen.

EDIT: Lovely breaking news graphic. What's the typeface, though? It looks like an odd version of Gill Sans..?

My reaction too, I have to admit! I'll hold my tongue until I see the whole package though.

Graphics wise, I am certainly liking what I'm seeing so far.

That's breaking news graphic looks bloody good. It's the sort of look you'd expect to see on continental European news programmes. Really looking forward to seeing the design implemented on-screen. I think the website looks great.

That look's very nice!

I like the new look- will like to see what they change/add in the coming weeks! Can't wait to see it all on screen! The red/white/grey looks so much fresher than the dark reds and black... Smile

Would it look better like this, using the current Breaking News strap, but with the new data streams.

Is it just me, or does it remind anyone else of the opening to World News Today on BBC Four.
