News 24 will be moving from current set N8 to current national bulletin set N6 in April this year. N6 is currently being redesigned for the move. When the changes have taken place News 24 will share the set with the BBC One O'Clock News and the BBC Ten O'Clock News, with other bulletins moving to TC7.

This is what Wikipedia says. It says that BBC News programmes take place in N6.

What currently happens in TC7 at the moment? I know that the other BBC News bulletins apart from 6 and 10 will move there.

Currently in TC7 :
Breakfast, 6, 10, Newsround, Newsnight, Working Lunch, Politics Show, Andrew Marr Show (1 is currently in N8 )

Future in TC7 :
Breakfast, 6, Newsnight, W/Lunch, PS & A/Marr. (10 moves to N6, Newsround to somewhere else - noggin will know).

I really can't wait for this revamp, if nothing else it'll stop this constant posting of "what is happening" questions.

It suspect that some people are going to be disappointed. The BBC aren't renowned for dramatic changes.

Someone should put up a sticky on The Newsroom with all the confirmed happenings for the relaunch.

Didn't think Newsround was moving, there's no need when you consider its already sharing with the Six without any problems.

No plans that I know of for Newsround to move - and now it is on at 1700 and not 1730 there is a much nicer turnaround into the Six.

BTW - the larger studio will also continue to be the home of Hardtalk and the 8pm summary AIUI...

Will the 8pm use the CSO screen that is behind what is considered Moria's desk then? Does that desk stay in the studio when not in use?

I think that desk stays there all the time.
