Sorry, I should have said! It's just for budget.

Could be that the budget coverage came from BBC Westminster who were routed directly to News 24's network feed, allowing the News 24 studio and gallery to work into BBC One for the One O'Clock News?

Of course, it won't be exactly like that, but a similar look I imagine, so it can only be a good thing.

That just looks like it's taken from their Budget graphics package which is largely based on red squares flying around. Certainly wouldn't read anything into it - that package has been in use for at least 3 budgets.

We know that - we're just saying that that's a similar idea.

Close - but imagine far more red than grey, oh and a hint of black...

I've been told by someone who's seen the new look that it's predominately grey and white with a hint of red.

It's much more than a hint...

So still no idea of WHEN it'll launch? Everytime I see the BBC News titles, I think how bland they are now, compared with BBC Arabic, although we know that the new look won't be like that...
