Of course - but I don't see why they would put 'News' on the BBC header.

Just to say with regards to the new desk in TC7, how long has Working Lunch been using it? I remember when they bought the new desk Working Lunch continued to use the old one - makes sense to use this one and it looks rather good. Do Breakfast [theoretically - when do they bother with using the desk] use it or the old one?

Nah. I'd expect 'BBC NEWS' to be incorporated into the header.

Yeah, I guess benjy did too, hence why he included it.

The news and sport site changes are a refresh in several stages - the first one is mainly applying new branding and making the site wider. But yes there are two BBC's at the top of the page which IMHO looks a little funny but apparently the focus groups didnt notice

I'd assume new one - probably because it would be easier, but as pointed out it is entirely theoretical as the desk hasn't been used in TC7 for Breakfast.

Can we expect the rebrand later this month, or is it still quite a few weeks away?

Spring was being bounced around, but I did think that would be a little quick!

Well Spring could be any time from March to June really. I really though don't see the need for anything substantial to change at all - the only changes required are those to accomodate News 24 in the new studio, and that could be as little as finding a suitable background for it.

Graphics and set wise the current look is barely two years old. I was thinking the other night that C4 have basically had their current set for nearly a decade, though with some slight modifications in 2005. In that time BBC1 have had 4 or 5 different sets.

I disagree.

As there are four seasons per twelve months, each season must be three months long!

Ever since childhood, I've always used Spring = Mar/Apr/May as a reasonable approxomation.

Well for me it's always been from the 21st of the month - so Spring is from 21st March to 21st June, though that being mid-summers day has always baffled me too! Confused
