I didn't think the people and the main desk seemed any closer to the screens than the Breakfast desk and sofa did, and they never seemed to have many problems lighting them.

Sorry Martin, those are horrible.

Don't like the angular oversized desk. Don't like the backdrop - too simple and boring. Don't like the colour scheme. Don't like the silly podium.

It looks fantastic, especially the smaller podium desk. I even like the oddly shaped main desk, I can see something like this working.

The current backdrop is far superior to Martin's - he says it's a placeholder, but I'm judging what I see.

Its a crappy Skyline which looks hideous during the day, don't see the superiority myself.

It's a clever reflected skyline which looks a lot better than some dark oranges - no matter what time of day.

Well I as this is about the changes to N6, I have been posting my ideas for layout of the studio, so it can work for News 24, plus the National News.

No...the daytime N6 backdrop is pretty horrible...the dusk and late night versions are mildly better, but still look cheap.

I disagree - I think it looks very nice. Admittedly better at night, but still very nice. However, I do appreciate your opinion.
