I wonder what would happen if a serious news event occurred right about now???!
If I were them I wouldn't want to move to N6 (what with all the new camera shots and almost certain problems) if there was really important breaking news, and I'd imagine they'd stay in N8? Bound to be wrong though Rolling Eyes

Hello (!) from my bed, where I'm watching News 24 online.

As much as I love News 24 and watch it religiously to the point of geek-dom, even I find watching the repetitive World simulcasts dull! That said, not even the new school term starting this morning can stop me from missing this!

Poor old N24, I'm going to miss you!

Bursting your bubble maybe the wrong term, but N24 are inserting these repeats!!!

On World is live editions of Asia Business Report which apparently has the new graphics!

Meh, Dateline is dull-as either way!

So, these emerging new graphics have the text on the right? This really is a big return to the 1999 era!

While we're vaguely on the topic - it would be nice to see two-line astons make a return. The last two graphics sets have meant either abbreviating, squishing or getting the start of the copy cut off(!)
Room to breathe would...be a breath of fresh air!!

Would be good if someone can get a World feed and give us an insight to these new gfx!

Does anyone know, or can anyone take a educated guess as to the viewing figures of BBC News 24 at this time of the morning?

The next ABR isn't until 3:45am GMT which is 15 mins before the whole thing goes live anyway.
