It be funny now if after all that nothing happened tomorrow. Wink

I wouldn't put it past them to forget that they are relaunching tomorrow! Wink Wink

Breaking News - BBC News forget to relaunch!

I wonder if Sky News will have some digs at them on air? They have in the past.

What time will the News 24 set close to change it all round for the new look etc? And what time will reopen? Durin the BBC World switchover?

They aren't changing the N24 set for the new look.... they're coming from a diffrent studio from tomorrow morning. The N24 studio will be converted for World over teh next few weeks

Did you hear the TOH at 11pm on News 24...

"It's 11 O'Clock the Headlines on BBC News 24, things will never be the same again" (going into the 10p Tax Row), but the way it was phrased it was like it won't be the same again without it being BBC News 24. Smile

The presenters keep smirking more than usual, when saying 'News 24' it's funny.

If Chris Eakin was on he'd say something about the changes tomorrow! Smile

Nogin - can you answer this question for me, do they have to re-route the feeds to the Dish on the roof of TVC to allow the output to come from somwhere else (i.e. N6's Gallery). There's also a lot of activity at the N8 Gallery (behind Adam Parsons on the close up shots), more than usual.

Let's hope someone mentions the change at some point... surely they credit the viewers with some intelligence!

It's hardly chaos is it? It's clear it hasn't been updated. And who in their right mind needs to view listings for a rolling news channel?

Was anyone watching N24 a few moments ago? We're my eyes deceiving me or did the headline transaction have a big glowing '24' in the middle?

They'll have to re-route the source of the channel into the transmission chain, but it wouldn't directly involve any satelite dishes, just a couple of button presses on a router panel.

Well the thundercaps between the Headline stories had the still of the BBC News 24 end of the titles which they dont normally use, then when they opted to the studio they had "BBC News 24 - Britains most watched News Channel" behind the presenter... they are giving it a small send off after all! Yep just posted it below too... also notice the presenter had the "BBC News 24 - Britains Most Watched News Channel" behind her just as she introduced the channel... possibly for the very last time.

I have recorded it and may upload it at some point tomorrow.
