Its my understanding that N24 branding will continue through until the close of breakfast and then all the new presentation will be rolled out along with the start of production and editorial from the N6 gallery.
All of that I'm sure is subject to change, however as far as I understand, there is a full compliment of production and technical staff on site overnight.

I'm new here by the way, so hello everyone!
Hello Griffin - welcome I think you are correct with your deduction, but I am sure an insider will no doubt tell us.

Hi, thank you.
I work closely both with BBC Television and BBC Radio, although not for the BBC directly. I've heard differing things from TVC over the past few days, and what I posted before seems to be the consensus of all the things I've heard, so would deduce that it should be pretty accurate other than for late changes.

I think that makes sense Griffin...not long now to find out though.
I guess that the EPG Channel name will change over night on Sky, Freeview and Cable at some point.
I suppose Freeview is the easiest for them to change as they own their own Mux.
As far as I remember most Sky EPG Channel Name Tag changes happen on a Sunday evening.
One would assume it will be listed as either "BBC NEWS" or "BBC NEWS CHNL" rather than "BBC NEWS 24".
PS: Just seen the TOH and you can see the presenters smirking to each other when they say "BBC News 24". Alan Parsons put a bit more emphasis on it which was quite funny... "The Headlines on BBC News....... ""24""" ".
The idea seems to be that fkaN24 itself will refer to itself as "BBC News" in all reports, graphics, autocues, etc; but BBC1 & 2 will refer to "BBC News Channel" (with a capitalised "Channel", per a DOG on the rugby match earlier). So I expect that the Freeview, etc, name will just drop the "24"

On the EPG it says for Tuesday morning and from there on as it were "BBC News 24" still on the overnight schedule. One would assume this will be updated to "BBC News Channel" or even just "BBC News".
