Oh please. Are you trying to tell me he sleeps?
He's trained himself to sleep with his eyes open and read news at the same time!

I remember seeing him presenting from 10:30pm til 2am one Friday I think; then saw him on the air at 8am on the next day - being Saturday - he never sleeps, or they have a bed in the newsroom.
I bet come tomorrow they relaunch everything, but they still insist on using N8! They can never seem to leave the place for anything - even though the set looks like it's falling to pieces.

I try not to get involved in such things, but seeing Tim all the time is just a turn off. At least CNN, Al Jazeera and dare I say it - Sky - vary their presenters more.

If I remember rightly in 2003, when the BBC introduced the Red and Black look, didn't BBC News 24 do some testing of their new graphics and titles overnight one day actually on air, when only a few people were watching. This time they haven't done that, so they must be pretty confident that everything will look OK.
I think because they are moving into a currently unused studio and gallery ( N6) they have been able to do lots of test off-air already.
